1 - macros : first anime I saw that I knew was anime.

2 - evangelion : probably my favorite.

3 - gundam z : because scirocco.

4 - gundam wing : i helped fansub this using laserdiscs and an amiga. i’m saying that i’m old.

5 - mind game : saw it at the moma in new york when i had a horrible flu and it made me feel better.

6 - ponyo : i just love this movie, ok?

7 - royal space force : saw this as a kid and it pretty much set my taste in anime.

8 - angel’s egg : saw this at UCLA in the 90s with Oshii in attendance. a special night.

9 - memories : an anime i spent years trying to find and watch. the internet didn’t always exist.

10 - millennium actress : i just love this movie, ok?
